Beef Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Directions:
Prepare the Beef Mixture:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and dried oregano. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheddar cheese. Set aside.
Prepare the Biscuits:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
Flatten each biscuit dough slightly and place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each biscuit. Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch to seal.
Bake the Biscuits:
Place the filled biscuits seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
Serve:
Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
