Strawberry Cheesecake Dessert Sushi Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1 box vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients needed to make the cake)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1⁄2 cups fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 1⁄2 cup Graham Crumbs
Instructions:
1. Bake the Cake: Prepare the vanilla cake mix according to the instructions on the package. Baking in a rectangular mold. Once done, let the cake cool completely.
2. Prepare Cheesecake Filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined. Incorporate the whipped cream until the mixture is light and fluffy.
3. Assemble Sushi Rolls: Trim the edges of the cooled cake to create a smooth rectangle. Spreads a thin, uniform layer of cheesecake filling onto the cake. Sprinkle chopped strawberries evenly over the filling.
4. Roll the Cake: Starting at one end, carefully roll the cake into a tight trunk, similar to rolling sushi. Once rolled, wrap the trunk in plastic and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to harden.
5. Cover with graham cracker crumbs: remove plastic after cooling. Roll the cake log into graham cracker crumbs, gently pressing to make them stick.
6. Slice and Serve: With a sharp knife, cut the cake log into 1-inch "sushi" pieces. Put them in a fountain and enjoy your sweet, fruity dessert sushi rolls.
Note: For a decorative touch, sprinkle rolls with melted white chocolate before serving.
